Musical Beginnings provides music instruction to students of all ages in Tuscaloosa and Baldwin Counties, Alabama. Our Piano Performers program, offered after school in many area Elementary schools, is a state of the art, multimedia-enhanced piano instruction program taught in a small group setting in which students learn individually and at their own pace despite the group setting. We also offer private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, and many other instruments.

 

Research shows that early exposure to music is critical to your child's total development and can make a significant impact on lifelong learning; early musical study can benefit both parents and children. Kuansin Engebretson established the school in 1998 with the positive long-term effects of music education in mind. The school has grown from just a few Kindermusik® classes to a vibrant center of music education serving over 500 students throughout Alabama.
